In September 2020, I was selected to attend the «CatchLight Africa Masterclass» of the famous Ethiopian photographer Aida Muluneh. Through the many courses and exercises proposed, I consolidated my understanding of photo-documentary and honed my photography skills. As part of one of these projects, I was asked to follow a person of my choice to capture scenes from their daily life. My father, as one of her regular clients, recommended that I choose Beatrice, a woman in her thirties who owns a maquis (small restaurant) in Yamoussoukro. I followed her on the 22nd of September 2020.
